Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain recently said that his government knew well who the electricity thieves were. Doesn’t it mean that the KPK government is not doing anything against electricity theft despite knowing those who are involved in this crime? Being the party in power, the ANP is responsible for making all government policies and implementing them. It is strange to see ANP leaders Afrasiab Khattak and Ghulam Ahmad Bilour conducting press conferences to complain about the loadshedding issue while another ANP leader claims that he knows electricity thieves. Instead of threatening electricity supply companies, these ministers should use their official authority to fix the problem.
