Our elected elite and custodians of tax payer’s money are planning fabulous increase in their own pay and perks at the expense of the poor masses. Apparently, they are unaware of dissatisfaction of the voters with their performance, and an idea of Presidential System that is in circulation.
Poor voters can see rich politicians getting richer and they can see that the parliamentary system is providing luxuries to the rich and their families while the poor starve and are burdened by heavy taxes on everyday goods and electricity. These heavily taxed voters are not ignorant of billions of tax money being spent on maintaining unnecessary political appointments such as a President, Governors, party appointed Senators and reserved seats lawmakers, advisors in addition to armies of ministers, and so on.
Voters can see lawmakers amending the Constitution to suit their requirements, enjoying large pay and perks without regular attendance of Parliament and speaking only about matters that benefit them, any concern of the common man stays pending. I sincerely appeal to them to minimize their financial burden on this poor and bankrupt nation and show some better performance to avert collapse of the existing Parliamentary System.
