No profound explanation

After energy, I think the most urgent need in Pakistan is for literacy but no political party is stressing this need in their speeches or election campaign, we are not seeing the slogan of ‘Educate the Nation’ on any banner of any party, why? Once again our nation may be deprived of this requirement and remain in the darkness of illiteracy. We cannot foresee any progress in the education sector in the agenda of the next government. When they do talk about education it is about upgrading middle schools and about basic education.
Well even if that was the case I would have been happy but there are no promises of education for everyone. Furthermore there seems to be no vision as to creating world class universities in Pakistan or funding research and development centers across the country, all this is very disappointing. As usual, politicians stamp and shout from podiums across the country to win hearts of public by mudslinging but no one alluds to the current mismanagement of the economic policy, agriculture policy, energy policy, health policy or education policy, except in very vague terms. How are they going to deal with it? And why did they not do so in the last five years, are questions everyone wants to ask?
