The emerging proposals of Seraiki and Hazara provinces ought to be supported as it would address the smoldering problems of these areas that have been ignored by Punjab and KP in their headstrong policies. A Godsend profitable outcome of the new provinces would be renegotiation of the 1991 Water Accord for fresh allocation of water to Seraiki province and allocation of royalty of Tarbela dam and the Bhasha dam for the Hazara province. Another positive feature is that D.I.K leaders would be prone to joining the Seraiki province to share the KBD waters which are denied at present due to suicidal policies of ANP leaders and J.U.I’s stand.
