Recently the Sindh government, on requisition, has transferred an employee of Education and Literacy Department Sindh, to Deputy Provincial Coordinator (Admin and Finance) in Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program (BBSYDP) with a huge salary, allowances and other benefits to handle the 1.5 billion budget of the program. Surprisingly, the officer has no degree in finance nor any experience in finance section, as is mandatory requirement for the post. This is not only against merit but also a clear violation of the Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court orders, regarding cancellation of transfers, deputations and requisitions especially of non-technical men for technical post. Moreover, everyone is aware of the poor standard of education in Sindh one of the main reasons being that large number of education department employees are working on deputations, transfers requisitions in other departments. I request the Chief Justice Supreme Court to take Suo Moto action on this issue.
