The Holy month of Ramadan is said to bring blessings for Muslims, but we in Pakistan know, that we will face unprecedented hardships. The never ending process of price hike, the lack of commodities in the open market and many items that vanish has become a regular occurrence. Looking at the government to provide relief has become another joke, the ‘sasta bazar’ is even more expensive with bad quality items sold. The lower middle class and salaried people find it hard to get through this month, but I wonder how the poor survive, let’s all help the needy around us as much as we can.
