Water shortage

A large number of residents of Street 10, Madina Colony Walton, Lahore and adjacent localities are facing an acute shortage of drinking water due to a non-functioning tube-well/water filtration plant which collapsed more than a month ago. Water is supplied through other means not sufficient to meet the day-long needs for only a limited period of time. The male members of the families have to spend extra time to fetch water from other nearby tube-wells apart from their routine duty. Several complaints have been lodged with the concerned department but to no avail. The high-ups of the WBC are requested to look into the matter and arrange for the early resumption of water to the area.
