Everything seems to be ‘Breaking News’ these days, no matter how trivial the topic or incident. The recent case of a prisoner in Multan jail, who climbed on a water tank and threatened to commit suicide, makes me think about the value of news today. I don’t understand why this incident got so much coverage? Our country is facing many crises and we are still not serious about work on them, instead time and money is wasted on such inconsequential topics.
