Unconcerned rulers

On my way to Lahore from Islamabad, the motorway was blocked near Kalashah Kaku exit by angry protestors complaining against prolonged loadshedding in the gruelling summer. An ambulance carrying a young man with a serious head injury was stuck in the traffic from 7pm to 8 pm. With great effort, people in the jam got him to the exit. I hope he survived. This was a display of common humanity by ordinary people. On the contrary Zardari, Gilani and others of their ilk are totally unconcerned about the misery of the teeming millions, suffering in this heat without light, water, jobs, food, clothing or schooling. Pray no one votes for them in coming elections.
