The voice from London

Many find longwinded blusters of Altaf Bhai from London irksome but I don't. Whenever he appears on the TV courtesy our numerous dutiful channels, I leave all I am doing and am glued to the screen. For starters, Altaf has had a nice set of hair transplant leaving a large forehead to make it look natural. At times insufferably verbose, he is never at a loss for words. The impression people carry of his party is that of a hornet's nest. You touch it, you will get a sting. -Dr A. P. SANGDIL, Oslo, Norway, via e-mail, May 8.
