These illegal and smuggled weapons are contributing to the worsening situation in Karachi. Recently, the administration had also advised the police to seize illegal weapons in Karachi, which has not been implemented yet. The reason because no police staff wants to cross paths with these heavily armed groups and added to this these groups have considerable influence on the department.
