It is the right decision made by COAS and Prime Minister that Pakistan play the role of mediation between the two theocratic state Iran and Saudi to live in peace and not impose their own understanding of political and spiritual aspects of Islam. Both countries should avoid dividing the Muslim Ummah on sectarian basis, already the Muslim countries’ majority population are living below the poverty line. Unfortunately with all the natural resources and talented hardworking people the contribution in new innovation and medicines invention is nil for the last 500 hundred years.
I wonder why Nawaz Sharif has not been able to find one civilian to work as a foreign minister that COAS has to do this job when he is fighting the war at home.
