The next few days are very important, as the operation being carried out in North Waziristan has affected the country. The most important part would be facilitating the IDPs and to register them before they enter into the settled areas. In the last few operations the terrorists were able to enter cities as IDPs. If it happens again, Pakistan will continue to face this menace. Everyone should be checked, including women and children. Apart from this, the polio vaccination is also very essential and can be carried out in the camps set for the IDPs. There can be many polio carriers in that population and if they mix with the settled population it could create a massive problem. The government needs to be serious in their intent and action and prevent corrupt officials from gulping down the money set for the rehabilitation of IDPs. Proper camps with necessities in this hot weather such as water and food should be available.
