A recent school incident has stunned the school faculty and members. The boy and girl have left their parents, siblings, classmates, wondering if they could have done something to prevent the teenagers from turning to suicide.
A study in United States tells that nearly 60% of all suicides are committed with a gun. That’s why any gun in your home should be unloaded, locked, and kept out of the reach of children and teens. The two teenager used a gun to commit suicide. Now the question that arises is that how they managed to get a gun to school? Was there no security guard at the gate? Was there no check at home?
Adolescence is also a time of sexual identity and relationships and a need for independence that often conflicts with the rules and expectations set by our parents and family. Parents should keep a close eye to their children and its important to keep the lines of communication open between their children. For parents, the death of a child is the most painful loss.
