This is regarding the news item that Musharraf is staging a comeback and would actually launch a new party of his own. I, on behalf, of his supporters welcome him and want him back as early as possible so that he can participate in political activities. During my life in Pakistan, I have not seen any person that was as sincere and loyal to the country as he was. He always made a decision keeping in view the national interest. His patriotism is beyond doubt. He had steered the ship of the country through the most turbulent times of the century and made some very difficult and unpopular decisions, which he had to make in national interest. All his decisions now seem right because even the present government is forced to follow them. With the entire independent media up in the arms against him, no concrete proof pertaining to any of his corruption has come up so far which makes him unique in the present lot of our rulers. His era is remembered as the era of development in which the country made unprecedented development in the fields of banking, telecommunication, infrastructure, independent media and higher education. Many mega projects like Gwadar port, dams and motorways were established and more than 600 multinationals invested in Pakistan. All this happened because of his great vision.
