Mr. Pervez Musharraf's departure from the political scene will be celebrated in times to come. I give him credit for facing the nation for so long despite being hated so much by the public. In the end, he had to cave in because he was human after all. We can only go to a certain extent and not beyond that. People say that he was a commando and that is why he was so tough. But he was probably desensitized to humiliation more than anything else. That is why he held out for so long. In my opinion, he had lost all sense of right or wrong towards the end.
