The construction of a nuclear shelter-like wall in front of the CCPO office is a total disgrace and a testimony to how cowardly our senior police officers are. If you were to go to the IG Police office on Nabha Road, you would be amazed by all the disgraceful security measures there. The whole area is littered with concrete blockades. The road facing the playground on the western side has lost practically the whole one side of it due to these concrete blocks. What kind of a security is this? Are we sending out a message to the public that our senior police officers have closed all shutters in scant disregard for the common man? Every time there is bomb blast or suicide attack only the poor constables are killed while the senior officers and rulers sitting inside their luxurious hide outs merely issue statements of condemnation. This country is being run by cowards, criminals and corrupt. There is no room for honest and hardworking citizens here. The statements being issued by our politicians make our heads hang in shame. They want to break legs of opponents, use some Sindh card, take pride in the NRO or, can you believe it, even take pride in being corrupt, openly saying on TV that they have a right to make money.
