We appreciate the sincere efforts of the honourable Chief Minister of Sindh to demolish all shops, warehouses etc, which were built illegally. Most of these shops were built in the basements of plazas, a space originally constructed for car parking. This had created multiple problems for the traffic and as well as the environment. 

Most shopping malls have electric sub-stations at their back, and the illegally constructed shops often block all emergency exits. These construction of these shops can easily result in a high casualty count if a case of emergency was to arise. K-electric should inspect all electric sub-stations and reinstall them at the front of buildings, leaving sufficient emergency exits.
