A woman who shifted from Afghanistan ended up living in refugee settlement of Punjab region of Pakistan. Now has become the pride of Pakistan. AQEELA ASIF who started with 20 student, went door to door to convince parents to let their children teach with many hurdles now she ended up to make 9 schools in the camp with around 1500 students which includes 900 girls. She dedicated her life to teach the Afghan refugee girls in Pakistan. Around 1000 of students have been graduated and has become doctors, engineers, government officials in Afghanistan. Due to her commendable efforts the United Nations Commission for Refugees or UNHCR awarded her with the prestigious Nansen Refugee Award.
