If Karachi is peaceful!

In response to a strike call given by MQM in Karachi against the assassination of its Member of National Assembly, Manzar Imam along with his three guards, all schools, colleges, universities, and businesses remained closed and transport came to a standstill. The breaking news of killing of MQM’s MNA stirred unrest all around Karachi. Firing was heard in various parts of city and cars and buses were also set ablaze.
Due to the prevailing unrest across Karachi, industries are being shifted to other countries including Bangladesh. Some blame third power while others say this unrest is due to the political power games going on in Karachi. Whatsoever the reason is, the fact is that this unrest is badly affecting the country’s economy. Today, not only in Karachi, rather all across the country bad governance is on its peak. If Karachi is safe, the entire Pakistan will be safe. If Karachi is peaceful, entire Pakistan will be peaceful. If Karachi develops, entire Pakistan will develop. Despite passage of more than 60 years, we are still part of the list of developing countries. Perhaps now time has come when we all should get united and bring about a change in our society. Think seriously before it gets too late.
