Kick-start peace talks

Pakistan and India have set a date to revive the stalled peace talks. The two secretaries will be meeting in Islamabad on August 25. This is in accordance with the wishes of the Prime Ministers of both countries. It is an important and vital step to get dialogue with India back on track. The Foreign Office said that the meeting had been fixed; keeping in mind the vision of the two Prime Ministers who both want to improve and establish good neighbourly relations. The talks will not only kick-start the process of peace but will also lay the groundwork for the next possible meeting between both PM’s. Let us hope that our relations improve and move forward, for we must not stall and allow things to move backwards as before. The people of both nations await a positive outcome.
