The restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry seems a wise decision because of the perfect timing chosen by the federal government. Because of this, Justice Dogar retired and Justice Iftikhar moved in without any ambiguity or confrontation. The credit of this amicable settlement goes to President Zardari who fulfilled yet another promise of Benazir Bhutto. The President has once again shown that he believes in the politics of reconciliation and harmony.
