Heart patients in Pakistan

According to recent reports, two hundred thousand people have lost their lives to heart diseases in a year in Pakistan. Due to depression and an unhealthy diet, heart diseases are on the rise in our country.

According to World Health Organisation, there are 17.3 million people suffering from heart diseases all around the world. The figure is also estimated to rise up to 23.6 million by 2030.

It is sad to see that Pakistan is in the top ten countries in regards to heart patients. Doctors are also of the opinion that pollution, fast food, unpleasant environment, smoking, are the main causes of heart diseases.

It is the duty of the government to make its people aware and safe from such terrible diseases. The citizens need to work together as well towards spreading awareness regarding health hazards.
