"No one but political clowns having American passports fancy ousting the government but we are not scared of them", so says the beleaguered, incompetent and corrupt President of this country. The attack is not just on the journalists being targeted by his government but on the people of Pakistan. Who would tell him that his days in the citadel of power would not be increased by gagging the media? His righteous outburst from the lofty pedestal of the Presidency has not raised him any higher from the plummeted depths he has fallen to in the public opinion. The people of this country made this man President just because of the tragic assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
