There is considerably low rate of researches donein Pakistan. The universities have a few research centers which are not well equipped so the researches conducted lack in quality. Many students are also not inclined towards research because our teaching and education system do not support this culture. Since primary school students are urged to get good grades rather than introducing them to research and innovation. 

Another obstacle is the need of funds. Researches especially at PhD level require funds and without sufficient funds researches cannot be conducted. Government should look into this matter as it relates to the development and prosperity of our nation.
