9 terrorists held in Balochistan

QUETTA 0- Frontier Corps and police yesterday apprehended nine more terrorists in the combing operation jointly launched by them.


A Frontier Corps spokesperson said on a tip off, FC with police conducted a search operation in Ismailabad, Mossa Colony and adjacent areas and took into custody nine alleged terrorists. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.


Sources said the suspects were affiliated with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and banned TTP). All the outlaws were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.


The sources said the outlaws were wanted by the law-enforcement agencies for their alleged involved in different target killing incidents in Balochistan, bomb blasts and incidents of blowing up state properties, gas pipelines and electricity towers.


MAJOR TERROR PLAN FOILED, SIX HELD: A terrorists’ network was busted yesterday in Nushki by security forces and intelligence agencies, foiling a major terrorism plot in the province.


According to details, at least six terrorists, including a commander, running Al-Qaeda’s network, were arrested and heavy arms, including seven Kalashnikovs, 12 rifles and 40 grenades, also seized.


Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said the terrorists wanted to spread fear and terror in the society. He said the head of the group used to brainwash common people in Nushki. The home minister said he had claimed on the day one that India’s secret agency was funding these terrorists.
