ISLAMABAD - A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court for the review of the courts March 1, 2011 order regarding the NAB Amended Ordinance 2010. The court on 1st March 2011 had dismissed the writ petitions against the NAB Amended Ordinance 2010. Applicant Shahid Orakza, who had challenged the NAB Amended Ordinance 2010, has filed a review petition on the courts decision. He questioned whether the Supreme Court could ignore an alleged violation of the Constitution by the President of Pakistan after it had noted such violation. The fundamental purpose of this review petition is to secure an order about the impeachment of the President of Pakistan, the petitioner pleaded.
