At least six people lost their lives while 11 others received injuries in a road accident on main Indus Highway in Jatta Ismail Khel area of the district on Sunday.
Police said the incident took place on the main Indus Highway when a trailer collided with a passenger coach, leaving six people dead and 11 others injured. The rescue teams and local administration officials soon reached the spot and kicked off rescue activities by pulling out dead and injured from the wrecked vehicles. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.
