PM to raise issue of Indian involvement with Obama

Islamabad: The government is collecting further evidences of foreign hands involvement in terrorism in Pakistan, to share with the US and other world leaders, when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be in New York in the last quarter of this year, sources privy to the development said today.

They said that significant evidences of RAW involvement in supporting insurgency and terrorism in Balochistan and FATA were already collected.
The diplomatic sources said that a Pakistani delegation under leadership of Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry is already in the US in connection to strategic dialogue to be specifically held on nuclear non-proliferation. “They would also raise the issue of RAW involvement in Pakistan’s disturbance.”
Reports from Washington suggest that Prime Minister is due in New York in September or October, to attend the World gathering at UN General Assembly. US President Obama is also expected to attend the meeting.
“The interaction between the top US official and Pakistan is likely to be informal, but evidences on RAW involvement to be shared,” the sources said.
Prime Minister’s Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has already said, “We will expose India at the international level for stocking unrest in Pakistan.”
In a meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif last month reports of Indian intelligence agency RAW’s involvement in terrorism in the country were discussed.

Pakistan also blamed Indian hands involved in Safoora incident killing and injuring a number of Ismaillis’ sect in Karachi last month.

While in his recent visit to Kabul, the Prime Minister accompanied by the COAS also urged President Ashraf Ghani, to take steps to stop RAW involvement in Pakistan from Afghan soil. The Pakistani delegation reportedly share dossier on the issue with the Afghan officials as well. “We would not allow our soil to be used against any one and we expect others to do so,” was the message conveyed to Kabul by Pakistani officials.
The Prime Minister would also raise issue of the Indian defense minister’s open statement in support of terrorism that could endanger world’s peace.
“There would be interaction with several friendly countries officials in the side line of the meeting at the UN and they would also be informed of the issue at informal interactions by Pakistani delegation,” the sources further said.
After successful operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists and Islamabad’s role for reconciliation and peace in Afghanistan, a hot spot in limelight, and the region, the world is realizing Pakistan’s role against violence. It has improved credibility of the country and the international community is more willing to listen Pakistan’s concerns.
