NORTH WAZIRISTAN - American war planes violated Pakistan airspace Wednesday evening in tribal area bordering Afghanistan, reported a private TV channel.
The US planes entered the Pakistani airspace at 4:15 pm and stayed there for at least 15 minutes, sources said. The airspace violation took place in the Loda Mandi area of North Waziristan.
The incident comes at a time when Pakistan-US ties are already passing through a rough patch owing to unilateral US policies and the Salala checkposts attack in which 24 Pakistani soldiers were killed in Nato airstrike.
