PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Development, Sitara Ayaz has said that establishment of a peaceful and prosperous society is impossible without promoting knowledge, adding that they need to promote peace and love through joint efforts.
This she expressed while addressing as chief guest at a function of annual parents day at the City School, University Town Peshawar. Schools headmistress Shaheen Shafique, Miss Samina Amjad, schoolteachers, parents and large number of children were also present on the occasion. Provincial Minister said that process of education was badly affected due to terrorism in the province during the last some years.    She said that ANP govt was striving its best to promote education in the province and work on construction of new schools and immediate reconstruction of the destroyed schools in the province.
Congratulating teachers and parents of the successful students she urged them to focus their attention on the better education and training of the children and utilise all their capabilities so as to enlighten their future.
Earlier, students of the school highlighted importance of peace and love in the life through various skits and tableaus while Sitara Ayaz, teachers and parents lauded the students over their performance.
