Islamabad- Transmission of state-run Pakistan Television has been restored as army personnel took control minutes after PTI and PAT workers stormed the headquarters of national TV.

Transmission of PTV was suspended Monday after protestors entered its premises and ransacked and occupied its building. Protestors entered into PTV building after breaking main gates. Contingent of Pakistan Army was called in to control the situation, PTV said, adding its transmission was forced to be suspended. Several hundred employees of PTV were stranded inside the building and were reportedly worried about their safety.
