ISLAMABAD- Security arrangements have been put on high alert in all airports of the country due to an uncertain political situation.

Airport sources have said that additional contingents of Airport Security Force (ASF) and Sky Marshalls have been deployed at all airports including Benazir Bhutto International Airport of Islamabad and Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

All vehicles are being allowed entry at airports after thorough checking.

The protests launched by Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Tahirul Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in federal capital city of Islamabad have disrupted routine life of citizens and have created an uncertain security situation.
