ISLAMABAD- The Supreme Court of Pakistan today offered to play its role as a ‘final mediator’ for resolving the current political crisis that had paralyzed the country.
The offer was made by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk during a hearing of petitions against possible unconstitutional measures in the wake of the crisis. “The Supreme Court is ready to resolve this crisis as a final mediator,” the Chief Justice said.
Counsels from both PTI and PAT sought sometime from the court so that they can take permission from their respective clients. The court granted one hour to both the parties.
