MQM yet to decide on rejoining govt

ISLAMABAD - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has not taken any decision to rejoin Federal government as yet. 'Muttahida has not finalised anything to rejoin government as these are just rumours, said MQM senior leader Waseem Akhtar talking to The Nation. Sitting on Opposition benches, he said, we are playing our part as Opposition party in the National Assembly and Senate. Meanwhile, MQM sources said that party was facing constant pressure from PPP to rejoin the govt but the party has so far not reached any decision. 'At the same time we have public pressure to not to rejoin govt as situation in Karachi is fast worsening day by day, he said ,adding, that normalising the Karachi situation was the first priority of the party and other matters come after it.
