Eight fall prey to vendetta, mishaps

At least eight persons including a woman were killed and nine others injured in separate incidents of violence, enmity and mishaps over the past 24 hours.
According to details, in JHANG a young man was killed after his bike skidded off following the bursting of one of its tyres.
As per reports, Fateh Ali and Shamsher, resident of Mauza Dab Kalan were coming from Chiniot on a bike. When they reached near Mahoon Wala, suddenly one of the tyres of the bike burst due to which both the riders fell down and sustained critical wounds. However, Fateh succumbed to his wounds on the spot while Shamsher was shifted to Allied Hospital in critical condition. In another incident, a ten-year-old boy died. According to details, one Hasnain Ahmed, son of Abdul Jabbar, a resident of Mauza Pakhra Sultan went to the rooftop of his house to collect woods but suddenly he slipped and fell down on the ground due to which he died instantly.
Similarly, a labourer was killed during digging for sewage lines in Garh Mahraja area. Reportedly, Muhammad Rizwan and his companions were digging for sewage Pipelines in Ameer Town of Garh Mahraja when suddenly wall of a house fell on them. Resultantly, Muhammad Rizwan died on the spot while his colleague survived the incident unhurt.
In another road mishap occurred in Garh Mahraja, four persons sustained critical wounds. As per details, three motorcyclists including Aslam, Ghazanfar and Irshad were going to Sharifabad on a bike when suddenly the bike collided with a cycle coming from the opposite direction. As a result all the four persons were injured. They were admitted to DHQ Hospital Jhang.
In SAHIWAL, a youth murdered his real brother over a property dispute here in Chak 98/9-L the other day. As per details there was a dispute going on over property between brothers - Khalid and Zahid, resident of Chak 98/9-L. However, Khalid murdered his brother with severe blows of hatchet and buried his dead body in the land outside the village. On information, the police have recovered dead body and started investigation after registration of case.
In another incident six armed outlaws opened indiscriminate firing in Chak 89/12L and killed one Mohammad Younas Jutt and injured a youth identified as Ansar over a land dispute. The police have registered a case.
Similarly, a Rickshaw driver Allah Ditta was crossing railway line when he was crushed by moving Jaffar Express near Harrapa. In yet another incident, a youth Sajid Ali, a resident of Chak 133/9L was going on his motorcycle 8271 (SLL-02) when a speeding bus (LXP-4222) hit him on overhead bridge, killing him instantly. The Police have registered two separate cases.
In SARGODHA, a woman was trampled to dead in a dacoity at Anarkali Bazaar in Satellite Town. According to details, a woman, a resident of Aziz Colony and wife of a schoolteacher went to Anarkali bazaar situated in Block-A commercial area of Satellite Town. All of the sudden unidentified accused grabbed her purse. In the meanwhile she fell down on the road and trampled due to panic. The purse snatchers succeeded in fleeing the scene. Meanwhile, in TOBA TEK SINGH, a pick-up van crushed to death a motorcyclist on Toba-Jhang Road here on Thursday. The deceased identified as Zafar Iqbal was coming to Toba when a speeding pick-up van coming from the rear ran over the bike. Resultantly he sustained critical wounds and was shifted to DHQ Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
