ISLAMABAD : A Gilgit-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight survived a disaster in Islamabad on Monday and made an emergency landing at the airport. According to PIA spokesperson, the captain of PIA flight PK-607, flying to Gilgit from Islamabad, made an emergency landing at Benazir Bhutto International Airport due to a technical fault in the plane. All passengers and crew remained safe, the spokesperson added. The technical staff of PIA carried out maintenance work on the aircraft and the flight later departed for Gilgit.
