SARGODHA - District Officer (Livestock) Dr Ejaz Qadeer on Thursday urged farmers to stock dry fodder and select upper earth to secure their animals from flood. He told the media that the Livestock officials were busy in vaccination of the cattle by rendering door-to-door service. The Livestock Department has divided the district into 10 flood sectors and 45 sub-sectors, he disclosed. He also stressed them to vaccinate their animals of fatal and deadly diseases which spread out in flood situation. DRUGS SEIZED: Police seized drugs and illegal arms during a day and night operation against the anti-social elements on the directions of District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Rizwan. The police arrested a lady drug pusher identified as Razia alias Fozia, resident of Jinnah Colony. The police also recovered 250 grams of heroine from her possession. A notorious drug seller Lal Khan of Kotmoman was also nabbed with 61 bottles of liquor. Police also recovered a pistol from Muhammad Akhtar of Phularwan, a 12-bore gun from Aslam of Jhal Chakian while three offenders Ahmed Sher, Javeed and Nawaz were booked on the charges of irrigation water theft at Thabal village.
