MINGORA  - A police constable from Swat has created a new standard of honesty. The police constable found Rs 5.5 million and returned it.
Ayaz Mian was on his way home after performing his duty as part of the security escort of a civil judge when he found the bag filled with money lying on the roadside.
He initially took the money to his house and began the search for its owner. After some time, Ayaz Mian heard the owner of the money announcing that he had lost it on a loud speaker.
After ascertaining that this was the rightful owner, the police constable returned the money and was offered Rs 500,000 as reward which he refused to accept.
