Boy injured in firing incident

PESHAWAR – A boy was injured when cantonment board personnel clashed with a shopkeeper and opened fire on him in a congested bazaar of Fawara Chowk Saddar area of Peshawar.
Sources said that personnel of cantonment board were on their drive against encroachment when they clashed with shopkeepers and handcart owners. After the exchange of hard word personal of the cantonment board opened firing which resulted injuring of a 13 year old minor boy ion the road.
The boy was rushed to Lady reading hospital Peshawar where he provided emergency medical treatment.
The traders and shopkeeper strongly reacted over the incident and blocked Fawara Chowk for two hours. The angry protestors were demanding registering of FIR against the personal of cantonment board.
Police did not registered FIR immediately and said that after the medical report detail FIR would be registered against the personal.
