One person was killed and another injured when unknown armed men opened fire at an auto rickshaw here in Quetta on Saturday.
According to details, unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire at an auto rickshaw at Sariyab Road near Quetta-Karachi Bus stand injuring the driver and passenger and fled the scene.
The injured were rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta where the injured passenger succumbed to his wounds. Heavy contingent of police reached the scene and cordoned off the area but the attackers managed to escape. Police said that the incident could be outcome of personal enmity. A case has been registered against unknown assailants and search for them was underway.
