PPP’s candidate Bailam Husnain secured her seat in a lucky draw against PML-Q candidate Tanzeela Amir Cheema for National Assembly reserved seat for women.
As the PPP and the PML-Q had won two national assembly seats each in the general election in Punjab the reserved seat against this number had to go to either of the two. At the provincial election office, a lucky draw was carried out to decide the matter in which Bailam ousted Tanzeela.–Staff Reporter
