People asked to choose corruption or prosperity

NANKANA SAHIB - The visionless and corrupt rulers don’t have any agenda to resolve the burning problems haunting the masses. Both Nawaz Sharif and Zardari are supporting each other not to end corruption, unemployment price hike and are united to pass different constitutional amendments which only cater to their needs. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that now people of Pakistan would have to decide either they want to suffer or bring prosperity, development and economic stability to the country.
PTI Chief Imran Khan expressed the views while addressing a public gathering at Youngsonabad en route to Nankana Sahib from Shah Kot here. Local notables Sohrab, Lumberdar Ranjit Lal, Arsalan William, Emmenule and a large number of women also attended the meeting.
At Bariwala Chowk while addressing a huge public gathering, the cricketer-turned-politician declared both the President Asif Zardari and PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif as two sides of the same coin. “One thief can’t manage accountability of another thief. Both the parties have provided nothing to the nation except accumulating their own assets in the country and abroad”, he charged. The PTI chairman asserted that uniform education policy, change of Thana culture and end to poverty and corruption would be the top priority of his party after coming to power with the help of deprived masses of the country in the coming general elections.
“We will bring down the prices of daily-use items, petrol, diesel and electricity and raise the socioeconomic condition of the poor people,” Imran elaborated, adding that the farmers would be provided cheaper fertilizers, electricity, seeds and fuel, enabling them to increase output from the land like other countries of the world which would definitely improve the living standards of the poor farmers.
The PTI chief also shower praises on Javed Hashmi for invaluable sacrifices he had rendered democracy. Meanwhile, Shah Mahmood Qureshi chanted slogans “GO Zardri Go” and people joined the chorus by chanting full-throated “Go Zardari Go”.

Meanwhile, addressing women gathering in front of DPS School, the PTI chief said that women had more important role in the nation-building process. PTI Lahore Division President Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, General Secretary Sheikh Imtiaz, District President Sajjad Haider Randhawa, Women’s Wing President Salomi Bukhari, Tehsil president and a large number of women were also present on the occasion.
