Course concludes at UAF

FAISALABAD - The University of Agriculture will have a Shahbaz Sharif Sports Gymnasium for providing the modern facilities to the youth, said UAF Dr Iqrar Ahmad.
He addressed the concluding session of the Handball Technical Course for coaches organised by Olympic Council of Asia and Pakistan Handball Federation at the UAF while MNA Haji Akram Ansari was guest of the honour on the occasion.
He disclosed that Asian Handball Challenge Trophy would be held at UAF in October this year.
He said that the University was mulling organising tent pegging world cup at the campus this year. He said that the country was having a lot of talents that must be explored. He said that sports maintain health and increase thinking ability. He said that the university was making all out efforts to provide the state-of-the-art facilities to the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Handball Federation President Haji Muhammad Shafiq said that more than 80 percent gold medallists belong to constituency of Haji Muhammad Akram Ansari and the UAF. He said that all international events of handball had taken place at UAF and it would be another honour of it if the UAF hold Asian Challenge Trophy in October this year.
