Police told to nail POs in 15 days

MUZAFFARGARH -:  District Police Officer Rai Zameerul Haq directed the SDPOs and SHOs to arrest all the proclaimed offenders live or dead within 15 days in their respective jurisdiction.
He warned that a strict action would be taken against the police officials who failed to arrest the POs as the provincial government was committed to getting rid society of these outlaws. He said anti-social elements not only posed threat to life and property of the citizens but also create law and order situation.
Talking to this scribe, the DPO said that 550 reconciliatory committees had already been finalised and District & Sessions Judge Khalid Anwar would administer oath to members of these committees. He said that these committees would resolve dispute and petty matters at local level.
The DPO told that he had received complaints from different quarters that SHOs of different police stations were submitting bogus bills of remuneration of Police Quami Razakars. Now, the District Police Department decided to pay their remuneration through bank.
He also ordered the SHOs concerned to ensure the maintenance of the stock lying in their stores. The DPO asked all SDPOs and ASPs to check the police stations and not to verify any bill without confirmation.
