Police nick 43 outlaws

KASUR: The district police claimed to have busted 43 criminals including 12 proclaimed offenders and recovered drugs and arms from their possession. About 15 court absconders are among the accused arrested during the raids conducted under the National Action.
Kasur DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that the police launched a crackdown on outlaws across the district. During the crackdown, 43 outlaws including 12 proclaimed offenders and 15 court absconders. He claimed that the arrested accused were wanted in various murder, robbery and dacoity cases. The police also recovered a rifle, a gun, three pistols, 0.5kg hashish and 30 litres of liquor from their possession. On the other hand, the police also arrested eight persons and registered cases under the National Action Plan for violation of wall-chalking, security ordinance and amplifier acts.–Staff Reporter
