Minchinabad: Three bike-borne robbers looted Rs0.5 million from a trader in front of a local bank in broad daylight here on Sunday. Following the incident, traders associations staged a protest against the police failure, demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
According to trader Zakir Paracha, three persons came on a bike and barged into his shop situated in the busiest area of the city. The culprits held the staff at gunpoint and made off with Rs0.5 million and valuables. According to eye-witnesses, it took the bandits only 15 minutes to execute the robbery. Two of the culprits entered the shop and third one remained outside the shop to keep a watch on the movement of passersby.–Staff Reporter
