rawalpindi - Education department has issued schedule for appointment of 674 male and female teachers in all the government schools of Rawalpindi district.
According to schedule, the posts will be advertised in the newspapers on November 26 and applications from the candidates will be received from December 15. The last date for submission of applications by the candidates has been fixed January 26, 2015. Merit list of the candidates will be put on display at EDO office on February 6 and interview will be held from February 10-15. Appointment letters will be issued on February 28. Acquiring 45 percent marks in NTS will be mandatory for the candidates applying for these posts of teachers. Age limit for male teachers has been set 20 to 35 years while female candidates will be given relaxation in age up to 3 years and they will be eligible to apply up to 38 years of age.
Two per cent quota has been reserved for special persons and 5 per cent quota has been reserved for minorities.
