OUR STAFF REPORTER LALAMUSA - Rivalry arising out of a land dispute claimed the life of a middle aged man and injured another when rival party opened indiscriminate fire on them at Mouza Thutha Rai Bahadar. As per detail, Tasawar Azam alias Mithu and Javid who are relatives and residents of the same village had developed enmity due to dispute over piece of land. The other day, Tasawar Azam along with his friends Fazalur Rehman, M Aslam was sitting in his shops, when Javid, Khalid Mumtaz, Afzal, Fazilur Rehman, allegedly opened indiscriminate fir at them. As a result, Fazalur Rehman was died on the spot while M Aslam sustained serious bullet injuries and was rushed to hospital. However, Tasawar Azam was luckily safe. In another similar murder case a married woman mother of two minor children was shot dead by her brother-in-law here at Mouza Saida. Meanwhile, her brother-in-law Liquat Ali allegedly intercepted them and shot her dead. The accused later escaped from the scene. The Kakrali Police have registered a case against him. However, the motive behind the murder could not be ascertained immediately.
