KHYBER AGENCY - Two people, including a personal of Khasadar Force and a civilian, were killed and three other Khasadars sustained injuries when unknown militants attacked a Khasadar party at the main Jamrud Bazaar, official sources informed on Monday.
The official of local political administration confirmed the incident and said that Khasadars were on their routine duty when unknown armed persons attacked them and as a result two persons, including a personal of Khasadar Force and a civilian, were killed and three other Khasadar personnel received bullet injuries. The militants successfully managed escape after committing the crime.
Immediately after the incident, security officials rushed to the scene and shifted the wounded and dead bodies to Jamrud hospital. The deceased were identified as Khasadar Sameed son of Major and Abdullah son of Said Ghameer.
Those who injured are Hayat Badsha, Hussain Shah and Said Noor Shah.
Meanwhile, unidentified men killed a local tribesman last night at Soor Kamar area of Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency. Local administration officials said that reason behind the killing of local man was not known, however, the deceased Shahid Khan was killed by unidentified men at Soor Kamar area of Jamrud tehsil.
